Description
On Sunday, October 8 we will be hosting a traditional Mexican Cooking Class: Cuisine from the State of Veracruz. Similar to past classes, this event will be primarily a teaching class where Dudley shows how to make three different dishes from scratch. This class will try samples of each of these dishes. The three dishes that participants will learn how to make:
Empanada de Platano con Minilla de Camaron.- A Sweet Plantain dough filled with a combination of shrimp, tomato, onion ,garlic and olives and Almonds, Morita chile.
Arroz a la Tumbada.- Mexican rice with seafood, clams, mussels, shrimp and white fish Recado rojo, sliced bread and guero chiles .
Bunuelos Jarochos .- Vanilla bean crispy dough, basted with cane sugar-anise syrup.
The class will be from 4pm to 7pm on Sunday July 9th. The cost is $75 a person. Space is limited.
